Clean Harbors is looking to add a Facility Technician to their team in Hebron, OH. The Facility Technician performs hands-on operations including drum pumping, tank farm operations, and offloading of waste materials. This role ensures safe and compliant handling of materials and equipment in support of facility operations, while in training to become a Chemical Operator.
Pay: $21/HR for training. Once trained roughly 60 days will switch to nights where pay will include a shift differential of: $1.75 per HR. Night shift: $22.75/HR.
Shift: Starting on Days 7am-7pm (12 hrs.) 3/2 split. Once trained typically following a 60-day period this position will switch to a night shift role (12 hrs.) 3/2 split. 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.

Responsibilities:
- Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
- Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements;
- Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections;
- Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement;
- Maintain area compliance with permit standards;
- Meet or exceed daily production goals;
- Keep work areas clean and organized;
- All other duties as required by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
- Must be 18 years or older;
- 1+ Years of related experience in a warehouse or industrial environment;
- Chemical plant experience is a plus for future development;
- Forklift experience preferred;
- Ability to use computer efficiently;
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
