Safety Kleen, located in Richmond, CA is seeking to add a team of Autoclave Technicians. The Autoclave Technicians will be responsible for processing medical waste in the medical processing side of the facility. This includes using an autoclave.

Pay: $25/HR to start with an increase to $27 at 90 days.

Requirements: Hepatitis B vaccine- can complete after hire. $750 bonus after completion is available.

Shift: Need open availability to work either days or nights. 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm. Monday-Friday. OT and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Operate an autoclave to process medical waste.
Load and unload route trucks.
Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
Manage inventory order and receiving process.
General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area.
Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift skills are required.
Medical waste or sterilizing experience is a plus but not required.
Must shave down to a mustache for clean shave policy.
Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.
1 plus years of related labor and computer experience preferred.
